WEEK 1: The Neurobiology of Trauma

Working with the marginalized and traumatized in your practice can be overwhelming and exhausting. Learn how to implement a comprehensive process of addressing the impact of trauma on marginalized clients of color while developing the skills needed to be more effective in treatment, avoid burnout and achieve positive outcomes. Dr. Webb will give you the individual and embodied skills training you need through experiential activities. Learn to work together with clients and community support systems to increase compassion through seeing the function of behavior through the lens of trauma, the loss of the essential self, and how to build a therapeutic space that communicates felt safety. Leave with the knowledge and skills to confidently teach clients how to implement a safe structure that enables the client to resource and rediscover the essential self, exiled due to trauma.

Attend this 4-week seminar and you will discover how powerful, and proven, trauma-focused interventions create a healing bridge for marginalized communities of color.

Join Dr. Eboni Webb, advisor to the Dialectical Behavior Therapy National Certification and Accreditation Association and Advanced Certified Practitioner or Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and take-home evidence-based strategies from both modalities to use with clients who have suffered from racial trauma.
